How to use WPF MediaKit to play DVD?

May 15, 2010 at 1:41 AM

I use this way to create DVDPlayer:

                        var player = new DvdPlayerElement();
                        player.BeginInit();
                        player.PlayOnInsert = true;
                        player.Visibility = Visibility.Visible;
                        player.DvdDirectory = myClass.GetCDRom()[i].ToString().Replace("\\", "") + @"\VIDEO_TS";      //This way can get the path
                        grdWPFMediaKit.Children.Add(player);
                        player.EndInit();

what is wrong with my code?

but It is No response。  Who can tell me how to use WPFMediaKit.dll to open DVD .

I download the lastest simple from codeplex,but it is also cannot play too....

Who Can give me a simple ?

There is a sample in the sample application.  Just change App.xaml's StartupUri to:   StartupUri="DVDPlayer.xaml"

If you are using from code, maybe you want to tell it to .Play() after you EndInit?

Thank  you ,And I try this method : but It cann't  work ,too.   Your method : There is a sample in the sample application.  Just change App.xaml's StartupUri to:   StartupUri="DVDPlayer.xaml"

I also try it ,but .....It does not working;

                        var player = new DvdPlayerElement();
                        player.BeginInit();
                        player.PlayOnInsert = true;
                        string d = myClass.GetCDRom()[i].ToString() + "VIDEO_TS";
                        player.DvdDirectory = myClass.GetCDRom()[i].ToString() + "VIDEO_TS";  //player.DvdDirectory=@"H:\VIDEO_TS";
                        grdWPFMediaKit.Children.Add(player);
                        player.EndInit();
                        player.Volume = 5;
                        player.Width = 600;
                        player.Height = 400;
                        player.Play();

                   I use player.Play();   but  it  also cann't work .   I have a qusetion : How can "player.Play()"   know  which file play first?
